8*19*2013
:: That my first day of back and forth dropping and picking up wasn't that shabby. I had several hours at home, did some errands, and spent time with Davis. It was a nice day.
:: To have a legitimate FHE tonight. With moving and summer vacays, we've been kind of skimming it or skipping it all together. There is something to be said about having uninterrupted time with the family talking and playing.
:: Loved how Brenner described how he went down on the body slide and that it was "Awesome!'
:: Love how easy-going my father-in-law is. He has such a pleasant personality and goes with the flow better than any one I've ever seen. He also is so generous and helpful. He did more than his fare share lifting and moving some heavy furniture. I hope I'm that active when I'm 71.
:: Loved catching up with our old neighbor. Her son is in Brenner's class and she said that Owen said today as they drove past our old house, "Mom, I think I'm going to cry because Brenner's not there any more." Ah. Change is hard and we loved this family! Luckily, they're still in our ward!

:: That one of my students in my Sunday school class rocked at teaching the lesson. She was true to herself, shared a great testimony, and I know that other kids were more receptive because it come from a peer, and not me.
:: How putting something away or where it needs to go gives some sense of "home" makes such a difference.
:: That I'm not are stressed as I thought I would be about my everyday life here. All of the back and forth, teaching piano in the student's homes, and just the general school activities. Life is busy, but I'm in a good head space and I'm grateful for that.
:: For Brenner giving a joking "threatening" jester to a Primary teacher who was judging the kid's singing. The teacher give the Jr. Primary a low score because they kind of sucked at the song. Brenner looked at the teacher, with a mocked scowl, and beat his fist into his hand.
:: For Mark. He has worked so hard during this move and has plugged away when I know he was just "done" moving and lifting. His job causes him to bend over a lot and so his back hurts anyway. He is a trooper!
